...is comfortable and charming, decorated with local Berber fabrics and ceramics. The hotel is set in the most glorious gardens and each room has an outside terrace with table and chairs overlooking the gardens and the spectacular Atlas Mountains.
...is simply stunning! About 35 minutes from central Marrakech, Kasbah Angour sits in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains with panoramic views. Set atop a hill the views sweep across a full 360 degrees taking in the local villages, a nearby National Park and the plains towards Marrakech.
Our days will start with tea before we decide whether we will take our morning practice on the panoramic roof top studio, in the garden or the indoor studio. The morning class will be from 8-10am and be followed by a beautiful breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries and a choice of breakfast mains, such as Berber style eggs.
Lunch is provided - a beautiful salad buffet. The afternoon is yours to do with as you please and we will meet again for meditation, restorative yoga and pranayama from 5.30-7pm. We will then have a three course dinner. There is a bar where you can take a glass or wine, a G&T or whatever you fancy! Morocco actually makes some rather lovely wines!
If you would like to have a Chakra Reading one afternoon then please state in your booking email. I will only be able to take a limited number of bookings for this as it is a 2 hour private session. Cost can be discussed if you are interested.
Apart from the yoga there is plenty to do, from simply lounging by the vast pool or under an olive tree with a good book, to exploring the local villages and town. You can take a taxi into Marrakech to experience the souks and explore the extraordinary culture of Morocco.

We will take one morning to go on a guided walk around the local Berber villages. This is optional and is around a 3.5hour easy walk through gorgeous and ever changing landscapes. We will find quartz and agates at our feet, walk through the National Park and local villages.

One evening we will take ourselves into Marrakech to experience the sensory overload that is Jemaa El-Fnaa at night time! We could take a food tour to get a proper taste of Marrakech or simply go out for a delicious meal and wander the souks.

Further activities that are available are taking a hot air balloon, taking a camel ride or visit the local town souk.
Included in the price is your accommodation for 5 nights, breakfast, lunch and 4 dinners at the hotel. Airport transfers, the guided walk and water in your room are also included in the price. Of course all the yoga is also included!
Flights are not included. Any extras at the hotel such as drinks, extra walks or excursions (such as the evening out in Marrakech) are not included.

I teach weekly yoga classes in Norfolk and Online via Zoom. If you want to attend please get in touch with me. I can then give you details on how to pay for the class and have a chat with you about your experience before you start the class. All classes are general level and are suitable for beginners as well as for those with some experience.
Zoom attendance is possible for all three classes I teach each week and the cost is the same for all Zoom classes - £10 per class
Classes generally run in terms of 6 weeks with occasional half term breaks that are usually aligned with school half terms.

Tuesdays 5.30-6.30pm - Gresham Village Hall & Zoom - £12 per class
Thursdays 2-3.30pm - Dilham Village Hall & Zoom - £12 per class.
Fridays 9-10.30am - Northrepps Village Hall & Zoom. £12 per class
Please bring your own equipment! A mat is a minimum but you will need yoga blocks, and a yoga strap too. Yoga bricks, a bolster and blanket are also useful but not essential.
All these classes are super friendly - I have students who have been attending for many years and we are always so happy to welcome new faces to the classes. We challenge ourselves but we have fun! I encourage everyone to take the class at their own speed, listening to THEIR body and doing what is best for YOU!
If you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to ask. Sadly, I do not do pregnancy yoga. I also take private clients for one to one sessions on zoom or in person (if you re in Norfolk!).
If you are new to yoga, please know that yoga is not just for the flexible - yoga is for the willing! If you are worried that the classes or workshops will be full of people who can tie their ankles around their necks then please don't be. I like to think that classes are like life - you can't take it too seriously. There will be moments of blissful quietness and peace as well as moments of laughter, exploration, discovery and revelation. Corny as it sounds yoga is a journey you take with yourself to bring awareness of yourself and your body, their strengths and weaknesses and to start to learn and listen to both body and spirit. Every body will benefit from a yoga practice regardless of ability or age.
Yoga has been proven to be a huge help in many different aspects of health. From a physical point of view, yoga will bring strength, stamina and flexibility. Skeletal and muscular issues like bad backs, knees, hips and stiff joints can be relieved. From a psychological point of view, the modern aliment of stress can be managed very successfully, aiding concentration and bringing clarity to the mind. From a spiritual point of view, yoga can bring quiet and peace to the practitioner. The ability to be still in our busy world is a valuable tool in life. Working mindfully in the poses is a meditation that can bring a peace that will pervade the rest of your life.
I am now putting on Yoga Days again and our next Yoga Day will be on 21st September 2024. These are a great way of going deeper into your practice. We have a workshop style class of two and a half hours in the morning and a full hour and a half of restorative yoga, pranayama and meditation in the afternoon. I provide a delicious vegetarian lunch that we all share together in between each session and at the end of the day we have tea and cake! As an ex-caterer I delight in making delicious meals that will nourish body and soul. Food brings immeasurable joy to most people and can make an occasion. For these workshops I will use seasonal and local ingredients to make a light lunch and then when we have finished the day we will indulge ourselves with tea and a slice (or two!) of cake. Its a wonderful day and I can't wait to get back to giving these more immersive workshop days. Watch out on here and my social media for any announcements!
Here is a taster past Yoga Days...
- Heart Chakra Practice
This day we focused on opening the heart and so backbends were inevitably involved. We meditated on the beautiful themes of the heart chakra - Love, Gratitude, Forgiveness, Peace, Compassion, Self Love...
- Springtime Detox and Rejuvenation
For Spring rejuvenation we focused on lots of twists to flush the liver and kidneys, flowing standing poses to energise and honour the Earths blossoming energies and in our mediation we explored the mantra "I trust the path I am walking".
- Throat Chakra Practice
This day was a wonderful exploration of this chakra and its importance in expressing ourselves. In our asanas we worked on releasing stress and tension in our necks and shoulders and explored some interesting Bandhas relating to the Vishuddha Chakra.
- Reawaken your Practice
On this day we focused on re-centring ourselves and so the practice veered towards the Solar Plexus Chakra and reflecting on our sense of self, self-empowerment and remembering to honour our 'gut instinct' or Enteric Nervous System. We therefore had lots of core work which is so useful for our practice in general.
